Financing
Portfolio Landlord
Landlord with 4+ mortgaged properties
Full Definition
A portfolio landlord is defined as having four or more mortgaged buy-to-let properties. Lenders apply additional underwriting criteria including review of entire portfolio's performance, stress testing, and business plans. This can make financing more complex but doesn't prevent continued investment.
